Corporate Membership Program

 

 

The Texas Geographic Society (TXGS) is a membership-based non-profit corporation created to unite public, private and nonprofit resources to improve government services and education through collaborative development and use of digital geographic data and related technologies.  TXGS is dedicated to promoting development and sharing of geographic data and providing public education in the application and benefits of digital geographic data and technology. 

 

TXGS uses money brought in through membership fees to provide member services, education and outreach in support of its objectives. Corporate memberships help TXGS bring elected officials, private sector representatives, government executives, and industry professionals together to promote development of Texas geospatial initiatives.

 

Period of membership:

TXGS uses the calendar year as its membership period and currently grants membership in two-year increments. All members who join within the current calendar year (2004) will be considered paid through December 2005.
